Here is some information for you before your session.
Capturing your Motherhood Journey
The aim of these sessions is to capture the raw, natural state of your journey. Have a think about what you would like me to capture, what are the special moments you share with your little ones on a day to day basis. Do you dance with them often? Do you love exploring and foraging with them outdoors? You are welcome to do whatever you are comfortable with - breastfeed, dance, play etc!
Location:
Sunshine West/Albion Kororoit Creek Trail.
We will be setting up between two big wattle trees along the creek. Please see map for the yellow X mark.
Parking & Entrance to the creek for pram accessibility:
Option 1: Closest option (5 minute walk away) but there is a steep slope so please wear sensible shoes. Near 22 Carter Street, Sunshine West. Head down the slope and turn right and we are about 5 minutes down the trail.
Option 2: Further option but no steep slope (10 mins walk away) Near Legenda’s Garden 113 Fraser Street Sunshine. Head down the slope and turn left, head across the bridge and continue left down the trail (see map.)
Session Timing:
As each session slot is 15 minutes, please aim to arrive at the location at least 15-20 minutes before your session time to allow for additional parking and walking time. There will be some toys and snacks, you are very welcome to hang around before and after your session to meet the other local mums!
Please note these photos are just for one parent to be involved. You are welcome to bring a partner or friend to help on the day, but 15 minutes is not long enough to capture both parents in the photos.
What to Wear:
Colours: I recommend choosing neutral tones such as cream, beige, brown, white, mustard, tan, olive and warm pastel colours. Colours such as black and navy and loud prints are not recommended as they can detract from a photo but if this is who you are, you do you!
Don’t overthink it - The most important thing is to choose clothes that reflect who you are as an individual and something that will mean you are comfortable on the day which will in turn produce the most natural looking photos.
What to expect after your session:
Included in your package are 10 high resolution image downloads from your session.
You will receive a gallery link (around 20-30 images) within 3-4 weeks to select and download these 10 images, with the option to purchase any additional images (+$30 per image) or the full gallery (+$150 for the full gallery). You will also be able to order any high quality matte, gloss or fine art prints through the online store.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that these sessions are non-refundable. I do however understand that sicknesses may strike at short notice, please just let me know as soon as you can at hello@charmainevisuals.com or on 0426992483 (text is fine) and you will be able to reschedule your session during future motherhood sessions.
In the unlikely event that I have to reschedule due to sickness or weather, you can either postpone to a future motherhood session or request a full refund if future scheduled sessions do not work for you.
